O COME ALL YE FAITHFUL - Adeste Fideles - PIPE ORGAN Sound " MERRY CHRISTMAS "

O Come All Ye Faithful ( Adeste Fideles ) This is probably one of the most Beloved of all the Christmas Carols or Hymns and one of my favorites. I love playing this Hymn on Christmas Eve when the Church is always full and there are so many voices.

This great hymn is considered a French Carol because it has been traced to the manuscript, Cantus Diversi, transcribed in France by John Wade in 1751. The words by an unknown French Hymnist were added during the 18th century. It is often sung in Latin as: Adeste Fideles.
